Second Pass doesn’t collect anything.
There is no account and no server. The app sends nothing anywhere — not your recordings, not the text made from them, not how you use it. Everything it makes stays on your phone, in the app’s own folder — which you can open yourself in the Files app.
Two things iOS does on its own, which you may want to know: if iCloud Backup is on, your phone includes this app’s data in your backup, the same as any other app — that is your iCloud and your setting. And the first time the app turns speech into text, iOS may download Apple’s speech model to your phone. Nothing of yours is sent in return.
While the app is in testing
TestFlight tells us if the app crashes and how often it’s opened — that’s Apple’s, not ours. And if you send feedback through TestFlight, whatever you send comes to us, including any screenshot. A screenshot of your words is your words.
